Strad Titian-based violin #1 is now completed!   The varnishing has been finished, but will take a month or so to completely harden.

Titian #2 has started with selected willow blocks having been sized and glued to the Titian mold.

The Titian is now completed!

The violin was finished with Joha varnish and coloured with thinned transparent oil paints.  The product is light brown varnish.  The varnishing process proved a bit more difficult then I anticipated.  I’m eager to start playing this instrument.  I’m going to revisit the finish and hence haven’t polished the final coats.
